LIER - CREEPY OLD ABOUNDED PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL

Niecałe 50 km od stolicy krainy światła i ciemności w Norwegii znajduje się jedno z bardziej fascynujących, a zarazem przerażających miejsc jakie udało mi się odwiedzić - stary, opuszczony szpital psychiatryczny. Potężny, zbudowany w 1926r. budynek obecnie niszczeje i wciąż budzi przerażenie! Historia tego szpitala jest bardzo ponura, w latach 70-tych praktykowano tu lobotomię, na wielu pacjentach  testowano LSD jako lekarstwo przeciw chorobom umysłowym.
Miejsce to uznawane jest za nawiedzone przez duchy swych cierpiących pacjentów...  Ja będąc w tym mistycznym miejscu czułam niesamowicie smutną i przygnębiającą energie, choć panował tam spokój... 


Less than 50 km from the capital of light and darkness land in Norway I founded most fascinating and terrifying places I managed to visit - an old, abandoned mental hospital. Huge, built in 1926 institution has a dark and interesting history. Here the staff tested new medicines, lobotomy, electroshocks and drugs like LSD on the patients in hope it could make them better.
Apparently the place is haunted by the ghosts of own past inhabitants...
Even though the place was quiet, being in this mystical place I felt incredibly sad and depressing energy...

FUHR - A SHORT HISTORY OF WINE

Uwielbiam stare fabryki, opuszczone budynki, miejsca, ktὁre kiedyṡ przeżywały czasy prosperity, a dzisiaj stoją zapomniane. To dla mnie idealne tło do sesji zdjęciowych. Przy prawie -10 stopniach, mroźnym, norweskim wietrze, jak zawsze narzekałam na odzienie nieodpowiednio dobrane do pogody.

Budynek na zdjęciach to zrujnowana winiarnia w Grimstad, należąca do rodziny Fuhr. Miejsce to w latach 30-stych dwudziestego wieku przeżywało swὁj złoty okres: boom na słodkie wina owocowe – z rabarbaru. Z czasem jednak koniunktura, jak i gusta smakowe uległy zmianie i lokalne wina odeszły w zapomnienie.

I love old factories, abandoned buildings. Those kinds of places are perfect for photo shoots.  It was really cold and windy, -10 degrees. I was freezing and complaining about the outfit that wasn`t correct for the Norwegian winter, but that is typical me.

The building you can see on the pictures was used as a storage room for sweet, fruit wines produced in Grimstad by the Fuhr family. In the 30s of the twentieth century the place was a “gold mine” for a family and the local community. The most common product was a rhubarb wine.  I am really curious what it taste like...
